About this experience

In this three hour long class, we're going to guide you through the creative process of handbuilding your very own mug, dinner plate & side plate. We'll discover different techniques for mastering the art of hand building as we guide you through the steps to create a very unique, functional set of ceramicware.

We’ll even let you choose from three of our handpicked studio glazes that we will glaze for you and have you ready to pick up in roughly 4 weeks. If you would like to glaze your own dinnerware set we will gladly pop you into one of our glazing sessions held at the end of every four week term (to be organised on day of workshop).

Cost: $140

What's included:

  • Use of equipment

  • Glazes

  • Firing of three final items made during class

This class is held at our Taren Point studio

Class sizes are strictly limited (sorry, you must be over 16 years to attend)

You will not be emailed tickets, just rock up to the class, provide your name and we will sign you in!

It's BYO - so feel free to bring some light snacks and your beverage of choice and the things you'll need to consume them (cups, plates ect).

Whilst we take great care of your pieces during the firing process it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Part Time Ceramics does not take any liability for broken, lost or damaged pieces.

Our classes do have a minimum number of sign ups required to run the class. In the rare event that a class doesn't have enough students enrolled, we will have to cancel and reschedule your booking.
