We’re looking for someone with a bit of clay experience to join our team for a casual role with about 15 hours a week (past and present students welcome to apply). You’ll get to be a central part of our lovely community and really get all the cool insights into all the in’s and outs of the pottery world.
Based in our private sunny studio in Taren Point, this role will begin as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading kilns
- Reclaiming clay
- Trimming work made in our workshops
- Glazing work
- Facilitating student work collections
- General cleaning duties
Must haves:
- Must be able to comfortably lift 15kgs
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to trim work to a high standard
- Basic knowledge of Ceramics
- Before and after school hours weekday availability
- Ability to work independently and to lead interns in studio processes
- Strong customer service background
