About this experience

Master the art of clay with your little ones as you and your accompanying little person(s) make a bowl, vase, mug or special treat bowl (whatever goes really). We'll guide you through a simple technique to form your vessel and then introduce a range of underglazes to finish off your peice!


Suitable for a range of ages from 4 -13 yrs.


IMPORTANT: Thease sessions are only suitable for kids who can sit on a high stool (no back).



These projects are designed to be self-lead, family fun, with our tutor moving through the class helping out as you need. 


How does ticketing work? 


Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Both adult and child need to have their own ticket.


All attending patrons MUST hold a ticket. Kids under 4 are not permitted to attend. 


Cost: 


($50 per a person)


$100 for One Adult & One Child 


$150 for One Adult & Two Children


$200 for One Adult & Three Children

  • Glazes




  • Firing of one final item made during class (firing and clay for extra items can be purchased in class)




Children must be supervised by their accompanying adults at all times.  There must be no more than three children per adult


This class is held at our TAREN POINT studio.


Whilst we take great care of your pieces during the firing process it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Part Time Ceramics does not take any liability for broken, lost or damaged pieces.


Our classes do have a minimum number of sign ups required to run the class. In the rare event that a class doesn't have enough students enrolled, we will have to cancel and reschedule your booking.

DUE TO STORAGE LIMITATIONS WE CANNOT STORE WORK FOR LONGER THAN 4 MONTHS AFTER YOUR CLASS DATE. WORK THAT IS NOT COLLECTED WITHIN THIS TIME PERIOD WILL BE DONATED.
