This class is ideal for folks with zero experience, and those who've had a few lessons, but need a refresher to improve their technique.

We'll teach you the fundamentals of hand building as we work through 3 different techniques to build bigger and larger. You’ll also give the opportunity to glaze your pieces with our amazing selection of studio colours and finishes.

Week one - Large Slab Vase Constuction
Week two - Working with ceramic stains and inlay
Week three - Platters
Week four - Glazing

Please ensure that you are available to attend all the sessions included in this block, no refunds or make up sessions can be offered if you cannot attend a class.

This class is held at our sunny studio in Taren point.

Class sizes are strictly limited (sorry, you must be over 16 years to attend)

Whilst we take great care of your pieces during the firing process it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Part Time Ceramics does not take any liability for broken, lost or damaged pieces.

Our classes do have a minimum number of sign ups required to run the class. In the rare event that a class doesn't have enough students enrolled, we will have to cancel and reschedule your booking.

DUE TO STORAGE LIMITATIONS WE CANNOT STORE WORK FOR LONGER THAN 4 MONTHS AFTER YOUR LAST CLASS DATE. WORK THAT IS NOT COLLECTED WITHIN THIS TIME PERIOD WILL BE DONATED.
